KICE, Industries

Julie Graves

One of a company’s greatest assets is its people. Kice Industries is very fortunate to have gifted, dedicated, and customer-focused employees. We would like you to learn a little bit more about our people of Kice, both professionally and personally.

Julie Graves

How many years and what roles have you had with Kice?

It has been eight years this November. I spent six years in Shipping, and have been a Production Scheduler since October of 2018.

Tell me a little bit about your current day-to-day job/responsibilities.

I schedule the back half of production.

What do you enjoy most about your job? Why?

It is busy all the time. Each day is never the same.

Work Environment

Can you share some things that set the company apart from other companies (what are the favorite things working at Kice?)

I think they really do care about their employees; you are not just a number.

What are three words to describe Kice?

Safety, Loyalty, Family.

Personal Side of Julie

You’re about to perform in a karaoke bar. What song do you pick?

I’m not much of a singer, so I would just sit and listen to other people. If we were talking about dancing, that’s another story.

Best place you have traveled to and why?

Mexico. It’s beautiful there, and the locals are really friendly and of course the amazing food!

If you could have dinner and drinks with two famous people, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

Sammy Hagar and David Lee Roth. Try to get them to be friends again so Van Halen can go back on tour.

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

Forensic Science/Homicide Investigator.

People would be surprised if they knew (about me):

The only thing I make for dinner is reservations.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Any Mexican food.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Speak Spanish.

What is your greatest fear?

Being a disappointment and a failure.

When you have 30 minutes of free-time, how do you pass the time?

I like to play Words with Friends. I know… that’s lame.

What are your biggest pet peeves?

When people don’t push their chairs in when they get up from a table.
