Working at Kice
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I absolutely love the Finance team that I work with—we have such kind, reliable, knowledgeable and helpful teammates who work together to accomplish both team and individual goals. I also enjoy Accounting. I like the feeling of completing the final pieces of the puzzle, tying up loose ends, and the overall sense of organization that it gives.
Can you share one of the things that are unique about working at Kice?
Foremost, I admire that Kice is founded on good core values, including faith in the good Lord. Kice has a very family-oriented culture with a full desire to take care of its employees. Having a young family with three busy kiddos, I am very grateful that I can fulfill both work and family responsibilities without hardship. I feel the people of Kice truly appreciate one another and the individual talents or skills everyone has to offer. Management really cares about the well-being of its people. I also think it’s wonderful working for a company that is producing and selling a product that is making this world a better place and contributes to the necessities of daily life. For example, when I do my grocery shopping and items in my cart are various brand names of Kice customers using our equipment to help create the end product, it gives me such a cool feeling!
What are three words to describe Kice?
Devoted, accommodating, driven

It’s impossible to pick a single instance! Playing catch, board games, cards, or golf with my family; watching my boys play ball or dance; attending either a Royals, Chiefs, or K-State game; going to concerts; singing in my family’s band; being at Disney World; drinking good coffee or margaritas!
What are your biggest pet peeves?
When people misuse the words “your” and “you’re”, and I hate walking barefoot on a dirty floor
If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
What do you fear most?
Snakes and spiders.
Do you have a hidden talent?
I’ve enjoyed performing country music professionally with my parents & sisters in my family’s band (Bucky Fowler & Southern Charm) since I was 11 yrs old around the Wichita and regional areas. I have also loved playing golf from a young age, which helped pay for some of my college.
Where is your favorite place to eat?
It depends on the day! A few faves: Flying Stove food truck, Firebirds, Piatto Neapolitan Pizzeria, Margarita’s Cantina.
If you won the lottery what is the first thing you would buy?
After putting money in college funds for my boys, I would love to travel the country with my husband to see a game in every Major League stadium.
