Applications

An Industrial Central Vacuum System is a custom-designed network of tubing, fittings, and elbows which typically go back to a centrally located baghouse filter and vacuum device (i.e. high static fan, multi-stage blower, turbine or vacuum Air Power Unit).

The Industrial Central Vacuum System provides a high vacuum to the end of a hose with variety of attachments for cleaning floors, walls, ducts and around milling and processing equipment. The system can also move bulk materials in the event of spillage, equipment cleanout, and more.

Tips and Tricks

• Limit operators to 2 on each 3” OD header
• Reduce restrictions, including use of 25+’ hoses
• Regular checking for leaks, open caps, couplings
• Do pull or kink hose
• When picking up “piles”, allow free air in around tool
• Verify grounding and continuity of system
• Install branches correctly. Either upward or horizontal so branch leg does not fill with material over time.
